Ani Saunders (Ani Glass)

Ani Glass is the persona of Cardiff-based electronic pop musician, producer and artist, Ani Saunders. A pop musician with a twist, Glass sings in her native languages Welsh and Cornish and in March 2020 released her self-produced debut album Mirores. As well as receiving glowing reviews, the album was awarded Welsh Album of the Year. In September 2020, Ani released the Ynys Araul remix EP which included a version by synth pop giants Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. Glass is also known for her work with The Pipettes, joining to record the Martin Rushent-produced Earth Vs. The Pipettes album. She is currently working on her much-anticipated follow-up album, due in 2023.
