Evelyne Methot

A recipient of the prestigious Monique-Barry scholarship from the Fondation du Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, Evelyne is poised to complete her master’s degree under Carole Sirois in April 2024. She has been honing her craft over the years under the tutelage of cellists Brian Manker, Rachel Mercer, Lluís Claret and Natasha Brofsky. In addition to her participation in the 2022 and 2023 NACO Mentorship Program, Evelyne’s professional orchestral experience includes performances as an additional musician with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and the Orchestre Symphonique de Drummondville. She was invited to showcase her skills as a versatile musician at the Montreal Chamber Music Festival in both 2023 and 2024 and performed at the most recent Future Stars’ Grand Premiere benefit concert hosted by the Fondation de la Place des Arts.
